Before you go…

Welcome to The Locals 🤙🏽

Seriously… thank you for being here.

I built this because I want the music to be something we experience together, not just something I release and you listen to from the other side of a screen.

This is where I’ll share new music, ideas, updates, giveaways, questions and pieces of the journey as they happen.

And I want you involved.

When I ask what you think, tell me. When a song connects with you, tell me why. When there’s a vote, giveaway or something to participate in, jump in.

And there’s another part of this that means a lot to me.

7% of the revenue received by Pono Records is dedicated to creating impact through Find Pono Foundation. So when you listen, share the music, come to a show, buy something or become part of this community, you’re helping build something bigger with me.

We’ll start by focusing that impact on mental health, music and creating spaces where people have the opportunity to create, express themselves and find more of who they are. As this grows, so will what we’re able to do together — expanding into things like clean water, clean air and other initiatives that help people and the planet.

I’m paying attention to the people who consistently show up here. Over time, some Locals will be invited into a small Listening Room where I’ll share music I’m still working on and get deeper feedback before releases.

For now, come say what’s up in the community and tell me where you’re listening from.

Grateful you’re here.

Music for us, not just me.
